500 kV Grid Station (New) Multan 2022
Our Turkish Principal M/s AK-AY ELEKTRIK Turkey has signed a contract with NTDC under contract # WB-03-2019 For Augmentation Works At 500kV Substation Multan & 200kV Substation Vehari under world bank loan Number. 8814-PK.
Augmentation work started in July 2022 and energization of all the 5 Nos. 220/132 kV, 250 MVA Auto-Transformers BEST Turkey make has successfully been completed on 31st December 2023. Furthermore, the project scope includes replacement of double conductor assembley, Civil work, and SCADA.
This augmentation of the transformers has improved the loading capacity of both substations and provided relief to MEPCO consumers.
